Maijani Rhodesian Ridgebacks
Welcome to Maijani Rhodesian Ridgebacks

Our first Ridgeback joined us in early 2002 and after co-breeding with Dimond Ridgebacks, we established Maijani in 2006. In 2007 we relocated to a beautiful 10 acre property in the growing area of Longmont, Colorado. Our new home has plenty of room for our Ridgebacks to roam and we are looking forward to enjoying many years in this beautiful location.

Rhodesian Ridgebacks are amazing companions, but they are not the right dog for everyone. They are loyal and loving to their families, but they can be very stubborn and strong-willed. Bringing a Ridgeback into your life is a serious committment and if you are willing to make the accomodations necessary to live with this breed, make sure you do your research. Only purchase from a reputable breeder, NEVER from a puppy store. Ask questions, meet the breed, and then ask more questions!

We are members in good standing of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of the United States, the Colorado Rhodesian Ridgeback Club, and the Rocky Mountain Hound Association. Debbie currently serves as the Chair of the RRCUS Ethics Committee and is Vice President of the Colorado Rhodesian Ridgeback Club.

Maijani News:

He just gets better with age...
pictured above is our boy Cooper, Ch. Dimond's Regal Heartbreaker, FCh, SC, CGC winning the first Award of Merit and Select Dog at the supported entry in Colorado Springs, CO in June. Coming out of retirement to have a little fun at the tender age of 8 1/2, Cooper wowed the crowd showing his sheer joy at being back in the show ring. Another fantastic weekend over the 4th of July Holiday with Cooper winning Best of Opposite from the Veterans Class at the Inaugural Rocky Mountain Hound Specialty in Loveland Colorado.

Congratulations!
Maijani is pleased to announce our newest Champion, Maijani's Dutch Goldberg, JC. Enzo will make limited appearances in the Breed ring over the next year.
